Planning on how to control the time your children use the computer daily? With Parental Control, you are able to do so. This feature allows the administrator of the computer to control Time limits, Games and allow users to control which programs that the account could access to. Today, I would like to share the tips on using Parental Controls features.
Just follow these few steps to setup the Parental Controls
1.Click on “Start” button, go to “Control Panel”
2.A “Control Panel” window will pop out. Click on “Parental Controls”.
3.The 1st thing which you need to do is, create another account for your children. As for me, I had named my extra account as Example as shown in the figure below. It is recommend to add password for the account as your children could not open or on after the time limits.
4.After creating the account, click on it.
5.Now, you are inside the “User Controls”, under the Parental Controls check on “On, enforce current settings” circle.
6.Under the “Window Settings” you are able to adjust the Time limits for weekdays and weekends, Block or Allow the games and Block or Allow some specific programs which you don’t wish your children to use.
7.After customizing all the settings, simply just click on “OK” button and you are able to let your children to use the computer under that account.
